K Blasting Ltd. is a well-established blast cleaning company since 1990 offering Wet or Dry blasting cleaning services and anti corrosion coatings across the South West.
At our premises we have various blast rooms and cabinets to cover most requirements of grit blasting and bead blasting.

The process of grit blast cleaning or sand blasting involves the use of compressed air and an abrasive medium. Applications range from removing rust, corrosion damage, paint and other coatings from brickwork, timber, steel, concrete, glass, fibreglass, stone and so on.
Blasting uses in refurbishment projects are many and varied and can be applied to commercial/industrial buildings, as well as individual properties. We can also clean boat hulls using various blast cleaning methods. Steel, fibreglass and timber hulls can be cleaned of paint and rust and aided in the treatment for osmosis.

In House Blast Cleaning

At our unit we have a large 40 Foot blast room, equipped with the latest blasting technology and we use various blast mediums to achieve all levels of surface cleanliness and profile as the job requires.
We have a dedicated glass bay for stainless and non ferrous items.
Bead can be used in a cabinet to give a preened finish small and delicate items.

We have a Qualified NACE Inspector on site.

We have invested heavily in the best possible test equipment to enable our in house inspector to produce accurate comprehensive paint and condition application reports

Plant & Machinery Refurbishment

Our experience in this type of work is considerable. Contracts have included a large steelworks plant, quarry plant/machinery, commercial lorries/trailers, farm vehicles, heritage and special ironwork. We use powerful 400 CFM air compressors to ensure any rust or corrosion damage is removed quickly and efficiently.
After blasting the metalwork we can also provide a full paint spraying service, priming and top coating to your desired colour. The final result is your transformed and renovated plant and machinery with improved look and value.

Waste & Recycling

Much of the grit we use is green glass recycled from waste glass.
We try to recycle and re use everything we can.
